Terms and Conditions

The Services are available only to individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years old. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

Meenk does not knowingly permit individuals under the age of eighteen (18) to use the Services. If we become aware that a user is under eighteen (18), we reserve the right to immediately terminate the account and delete associated data.

Meenk is a social discovery platform that may allow users to discover people, events, and information; communicate via messaging features; share content; and access location-based recommendations.

Meenk reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time, with or without notice.

To access certain features, you may be required to create an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information. You agree to maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to notify Meenk immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You may submit, post, upload, or transmit content through the Services ("User Content"), including text, images, messages, and profile information.

You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant Meenk LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting or technical purposes), display, and distribute such User Content solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, improving, and promoting the Services.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to your User Content and that it does not violate any applicable law or infringe any third-party rights.

Meenk reserves the right, but does not assume the obligation, to monitor, review, remove, restrict, or disable access to any content at its sole discretion and without notice.

Pursuant to Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, Meenk shall not be liable for any User Content or for any statements or conduct of users.

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users;
• Post unlawful, defamatory, or obscene content;
• Impersonate any person or entity;
• Use automated systems, bots, or scraping tools;
• Attempt to reverse engineer or interfere with the Services;
• Use the Services for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.

Violation of this section may result in immediate termination of your account.

Meenk facilitates introductions and content discovery but does not control or supervise user behavior. You acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users;
• Meenk does not conduct background checks unless explicitly stated;
• Meeting users in person involves inherent risks;
• Attendance at events discovered through the Services is at your own risk.

You assume all risks associated with in-person meetings, user misconduct, criminal acts, physical injury, emotional harm, fraud, or other damages arising from interactions initiated through the Services. Meenk shall not be responsible for the conduct of any user or third party.

The Services may use GPS data, IP address information, or other location data to provide personalized content. You control device-level location permissions. You acknowledge the risks associated with sharing location information.

The Services may include advertisements, sponsored content, or promoted posts. Third-party advertisers may use cookies or similar technologies, subject to their own privacy policies. Meenk does not control third-party advertising practices.

Meenk may use automated systems, algorithms, and artificial intelligence to recommend content, suggest connections, analyze images, and moderate content.

By using the Services, you consent to automated processing of your data and User Content. Meenk does not claim to collect or store biometric identifiers unless expressly disclosed.

The Services may integrate or link to third-party services, including event providers and content sources. Meenk is not responsible for third-party content, accuracy, or practices.

All trademarks, logos, software, design elements, and content owned by Meenk are the exclusive property of Meenk LLC or its licensors. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

If you believe that content on the Services infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice including:

• Identification of the copyrighted work;
• Identification of the allegedly infringing material;
• Your contact information;
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act;
• Your physical or electronic signature.

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Meenk does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Meenk LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, emotional distress, bodily injury resulting from user interactions, criminal acts of users, event-related harm, or data loss beyond reasonable control.

Meenk's total liability shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Meenk LLC from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Services, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

Meenk shall not be liable for any failure or delay resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, government actions, or third-party service failures.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted in the State of California.

You waive the right to a jury trial and agree not to participate in a class action or representative proceeding.

You may opt out of arbitration within thirty (30) days of account creation by emailing support@meenk-app.com.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
